The International Mathematics Contest (IMC) is an annual contest organized by IMC Union. With the principle of “ Science has no border” IMC is committed to uniting all organizations, institutions and individuals from all over the world who are dedicated to popularize the math education and jointly create a platform for young people to exchange their views on mathematics and arousing their interest on mathematics.

Horizon International Schools, Myanmar always encourage and allow the students to participate in such contests happening in different countries every year to change the approach of students towards that particular subject. This is an opportunity for the students to handle the subject in different ways apart from the normal curriculum that they are already into.

This year the contest was held in Singapore and 30 students participated from Po Sein, Shu khinn Thar and Mandalay campuses representing Myanmar. Out of which, one student achieved a silver medal and six students achieved bronze medals.

Horizon International Schools will motivate and train the students attending many such upcoming contests to improve their views and skills.
