Character and Value Education has been an integral part of the education system at Horizon. Honesty, responsibility, and respect are few of the many important moral values that are taught throughout the year over various interactive activities. Through colorful celebration of National Day, Diwali, Chinese New Year, Teacher’s Day, and Children’s Day, we aimed to make our children aware of their own culture and traditions. These events also served the purpose of presenting other cultures and customs, which we believe will bring about a sense of appreciation, respect and unity among our children. Several other activities included Save the Earth, Helping Hands, and Visit to the Orphanage. As the parents, children, teachers and staff worked together, it made us all realize our responsibilities towards the society, the earth, and the humanity as whole.
